commodorereloaded BBS online!
My BBS should be up and running, it's an Ivory bbs with no frills. I just want to try this out first, then go with something like AA BBS or Color 64. Try it at commodorereloaded.servebbs.com.
Hopefully you can connect, and give me some feedback!!! Thanks!

CNN did a pretty good job of giving credit where credit is due. Not many computers are worthy of an anniversary celebration like the C64. How about the Ataris, the PCjr, Coleco Adam, Timex-Sinclair, TRS-80, or Texas Instuments 994/A? The Commodore 64 laid waste to ALL of these computers back in the ...

Quantum Link?
I got the "original" Quantum Link software off Ebay (with a couple modems/manuals), can I use this to access QL? Is QL still operational? I tried it, but I think I need the null modem cable/adapter that has more than the three connections I'm using now!

SX-64 surfing the internet
Actually it's more like wading slowly through the internet!!! But hey, it's possible. Using an RS-232 interface, a simple null modem cable and a PC, I loaded the Hyperlink 2.5 software on the SX-64 and was to get on the internet.

Cottonwood BBS
I just want to say thank you to Andrew Wiskow for the RS-232 interface. With some tinkering, I was able to access your BBS. I am using my SX-64 thru my PC to link to the BBS. Sure is a nice little change from the internet!!! Hopefully I can get that Hyperlink browser software and try to get onto the...

I just received the interface today, that was pretty fast! I made a null cable from the interface to my PC, but trying to figure out which software to use (on both ends C= and PC) is confusing. Do you suggest any setups that might work? Is Quantum link working? I went to the site, and can't download...

I just won a bid on Ebay for an RS-232 interface, I'm too lazy to make my own. The seller is this Wiskow guy! Hopefully it will work on my SX-64, looks like the offset of the box might interfere with the power cord. I should be able to make a null cable from the DB25 end to a DB9 female end to...

C-64 DTV to be in KB toys in one week?
I was checking around for another DTV to hack, and no suprise, can't find any locally. Called a KB Toy store in Westland, Michigan, said they should have more in about a week. Interesting, Mammoth must be using up the ASICs they have left. According to posts on pestscii forums, there was a surplus. ...
