Though our club treasurer, Dick Estel, really wants to go to CommVEx v4, he has a massive coast-to-coast RV trip planned for next summer and will only arrive back on the West Coast a few days before CommVEx. That's cutting it close! I'm hoping he has the energy for a little more travel to Las Vegas....

The AmiWest 2007 Show will be held October 21, 2007 at the renovated Clarion Hotel Cal Expo, Sacramento. The banquet will be held Oct. 20, 2007 at 7 PM. For CommVEx v4, the Plaza Hotel will have rooms available for the same price as this year, i.e., $60/night Friday and Saturday, and $30/night Sunday, excluding taxes.

To my way of reckoning, we broke even on the show. At this month's club meeting, our treasurer showed me the printout of his spreadsheet for CommVEx. After much clarification and manipulation of the numbers, we found out we have a small carryover of money for next year's CommVEx v4! Hurrah! Truly,
