Re: Commodore PLA Chip

I believe Eslapion still makes new ones. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and his rates are very reasonable. If you can't find one in the UK and need his contact info, send me a private message here and I'll give you his info.

Re: Whatever happened to those DTV ASICs?

When I met with Jeri Ellsworth yesterday, she told me that the spare 100,000 DTV ASICs, which had been been sitting for years in storage at the Chinese factory, are now hers! Then she told me about a board that she wanted to place the ASIC upon. However, she gave no further details. A tantalizing t...

Re: Setting Up A c64 Telnet BBS With Macintosh

I got all the c64 hardware, I just have to figure out a way to connect it all with my iMac and find the proper software. thanks. I've never done it with a Mac myself, but I'd recommend posting this question on the TelB...

Sorry... I can't help you... My 10-year-old Nokia doesn't have an emulator... but it still works! ;)

Re: One BBS is offline and another is online

I just added a new way to connect to both Cottonwood BBS and Cottonwood II. You can now connect from a web browser with FlashTerm. This is a great way to connect that does not require any additional software to be installed other than a flash-capable browser, perfect for when you're using a public c...

One BBS is offline and another is online

For the past few years, I've been running what has been, for most of that time, the only Commodore-run dial-up BBS anywhere in the world. Borderline BBS has been running on a C64 in my home in southern California, and while it has never received a huge volume of calls, it has had calls from all over...

Re: CommVEx v6 guests and presentations

Just a thought... why not invite "eBay's 94bravo" to give a presentation on the Lt. Kernal? He is, after all, the master! ;)

Re: CommVEx v6 guests and presentations

Another presentation - Andrew Wiskow and the Lt. Kernal hard drive on the C64. Sadly, I must withdraw myself as a presenter for CommVEx v6. Due to a visit from my parents at the same time, followed by a family reunion in Wisconsin, I will not be able to make it to Las Vegas. This is very disappoint...

I'll try to get a picture up with the prototype badge,
Sounds cool! :)

I'll definately need to do some "brushing up", since it's been a couple years since I've touched a LTK. But, I may be getting my hands on a "fixer-upper" LTK soon. ;)

Falling on the weekend *after* CommVEx are the Las Vegas events, Classic Gaming Expo 2010 at the Tropicana Hotel and Defcon 17 at the Riviera Hotel. For more information, go to http://www.cgexpo.com http://www.defcon.org That's too bad... I was hoping the Classic Gaming Expo would be on the same we...

Re: Donations to CommVEx v6 2010

A few days ago I received a couple of large donations to CommVEx. I am very grateful that there are individuals out there who want to keep our little show going. We've also made a few sales in hardware, and I will ask the club whether those monies should go to CommVEx, too. I remember that earlier ...
