PC to Datasette Transfer (WORKS!)

Bleh, I thought of a hack-ish way to get data from my PC to my C64... I'm just curious if anyone here has tried this, but I have some utilities for turning T64, PRG, and TAP files to audio files, and I'm thinking of recording the converted audio from such files via the speaker-out to a tape deck, lo...

Re: Can anyone spare a C64/C128 Power Supply?

Crap...I just bought about three of them on eBay...one included another C64, one was a C128 power supply that I'll be changing plugs on...

Well, I'll keep you in mind anyways. As flaky as these PSUs seem to be sometimes, I never know when I'll need another.

Can anyone spare a C64/C128 Power Supply?

Ack, I got two C64s recently... One without a power supply, one with. Both computers will turn on...well, enough for a power light, but when I test the power supply voltages, I'm getting nowhere near 9VAC on the two 9V lines. If I'm lucky, I'll get about 5v. Anyways, if anyone can spare a 64/128 pow...

Near Portland, I'll give you my C128 setup 4 some joysticks.

I hate using numbers instead of words, but it had to fit... Anyways, I don't need my C128 anymore, nor the 1571 or 1541 drives I have for it, nor the printer, nor all the software. What I really need, are some Atari joysticks. (or compatible, but I prefer the actual Atari ones, myself.) And if you h...

For sale: C128 + Printer + two disk drives + all my software

Well, I'm cleaning off my desk, and sadly... The Commodore just didn't keep up with me :( (sigh) I feel like such a traitor...but I really need space on my desk for...my...new... Atari 1040STf and Atari 1040STe. >shrugs< I was very happy to be a Commodore owner, and my C128 has served me as well as ...

How about a C128 + a rebuild 1571 + a 1541 + a commodore-compatible Okidata printer? And all my C64/C128 software? I've opened up everything and gave them a look-over, cleaning, and done whatever little things need done. It all works in tip-top shape. Name your price, however, be warned I live in Wa...

If I may ask one detail, what is the time that the meetings happen for ACUG 0447?

As soon as I get a working car again, I'll be happy to stop in and check it out.

Gatherings for commodore enthusiasts? 8|

I need to get out more...Although I've heard of similar things going on around here, but they tend to be all about pre-1984 consoles only.

Anyways, enough posting in the dead topic.

Well, star commander still isn't working. I'd try my 1541, but it's sorta cooked.. Anyways, here's the software, categorized: Games: Pitfall 2: Lost Caverns The Great Giana Sisters Arkanoid Metal Gear (if you can find it anymore, that is. It seemed to disappear off of C64.com and planetemu.net somew...

Go to your options pull-down. Look at your transfer settings in the Star Commander. I'm using on older Pentium 233MMX with the X1541 cable and 1571 drive. My transfer mode is "turbo". Serial cable is X1541. Force async transfer (x marked in box). Manual timeouts. Sometimes you have to unp...
