I wonder why GeoRAM clones are more popular than REU clones, which are virtually non-existent. IMHO the DMA function of the REU was a very useful thing, and using modern electronics the physical dimensions would be the fraction (even with 16MB RAM) of the original REU units and the original C64 PSU...
