Help needed with CP/M
Hi Group, Is there anyone out there experienced with running CP/M on their C=128? If so, I have a few questions. I have an original Wordstar Disk that won't get a directory on it through CP/M. The drive reads the disk and returns a series of colons. No file listing. And, no errors. I am running the ...

C128 RGBI monitor Cable needed
Hi Group, I've got my new-to-me Commodore 128 working. When I got it, the power switch was not working. I purchased a new on/off rocker switch from Ray Carlsen, soldered it in (easy), and now it works. I tested the C128 in 40-column mode, C64 mode, and the Z80 chip by running the CP/M disk on my 157...

Re: C128 on/off switch needed
Hi Robert, Thanks Robert, I may take you up on it. I'll contact Ray about how he does it, and then try myself, after a trip to radio shack. The stock switch has six leads soldered to the circuit board so I may need his guidance. I have another C128 that has a memory issue and that one probably needs...

C128 on/off switch needed
Hi Group, I bought a Commodore 128 off of the local craigslist the other day. The problem with it is the on/off rocker switch is frozen. When I disassembled the unit, I was able to use a dental probe and spread apart the metal retainers for the rocker, exposing the internal plunger, which was broken...

Re: Wanted: JiffyDos for 1571 drive
Thanks for replying Robert. Say, are going to visit Ray Carlson? That reminds me, I have something I need to send him to get working properly. If you have time, you can make a 'pit stop' in Grants Pass and we can connect.
Regards,
Rob

Wanted: JiffyDos for 1571 drive
Hi Group,
Is anyone out there! Say, I just picked up JiffyDos for my Comodore 128 from Mike in Central Point, Oregon. Now I'd like to find an original CMD Jiffydos chip for my 1571. Does anyone have one they want to sell? Thanks in advance...

Re: New Member Intro
Hi Robert, Stop on by in November! I just got back an SX-64 motherboard from Ray. He's pretty sharp. My next fix'it is one of my 1571 floppy drives has a problem with the upper read/write head. The unit will play C64 games, but won't read a CPM disk, as an example. Neither will it load any of my oth...

Re: New Member Intro
Thanks for replying everyone! I'll check out the WiModem. One thing though. Is there software that will allow me to enter my WiFi password? I think I have a few copies of Novaterm, will that do? Anyone driving through the area is more than welcome to stop on by. Spend the night, have dinner, let me ...

Hi Group, I am new to this group so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Rob and I live in Grants Pass which is in Southern Oregon near Medford. I collect Commodore Computers and actually I've acquired quite a bit of neat stuff in the last four years. That is how long I've been a collector. I ...
