Re: Exciting New Commodore Event in the NW USA

If its OK with you Robert, I'd like to get started on the organization of the compo part of the expo. I have lots of ideas and already several people here in Canada that would like to participate. I'd like to focus part of the compo on BBS art, specially static screens and animations. That kinda of ...

Re: Exciting New Commodore Event in the NW USA

Hey, Kevin Casteels (alterus) here from the Commodore 64 Enthusiasts of Greater Victoria (Vic64). I think this is going to be an awesome event and I'm sure a number of us will make the trip over from Victoria. There is also a new group starting up in Vancouver BC, the Vancouver Commodore Enthusiasts...

Re: Commodore Clubs?

Hey Robert, I recently acquired a Chalkboard PowerPad with Leo's Lectric Paintbrush and a music program. Unfortunately both of the carts are dead... very bad luck i guess. Do you know where to get the software for these? I can't seem to find it online anywhere.... A crt or d64 would do, as I have a ...

Re: Soliciting Assistance/Ideas: Using a 128 with a 64NIC+ & an REU simultaneously

You can get a 1541u2 here: http://www.1541ultimate.net/content/index.php They are currently unavailable, but I'd expect them to be around again in March or so... in the mean time you can download the MegaPatch 3 base image I setup here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8152774/c64/MP3nramBoot.d64...

Re: Soliciting Assistance/Ideas: Using a 128 with a 64NIC+ & an REU simultaneously

If you decide to go the Strikelink route, they are fairly easy to build and the parts cost around $15. I also have parts to build several for our c64 group here in Victoria and would be happy to build one for anyone that is interested... $25 + postage. They work really well, up to 9600 baud, and sin...

Re: Soliciting Assistance/Ideas: Using a 128 with a 64NIC+ & an REU simultaneously

I use a 1541 ultimate 2 with Geos and it works very well. I actually use MegaPatch 3 Geos, which allows task switching and I can hop between geoTerm and geoWriter, for example, then hop to a Geos game for a bit, then back to geoWriter... etc etc. The 1541u2 allows you to save the REU to file on the ...

Vic 64: The Commodore 64 Enthusiats of Greater Victoria

Hi everyone! My first post here, and I'd like to let you all know about a new group we recently started up: The Commodore 64 Enthusiasts of Greater Victoria, or VIC 64 for short. The group has existed for sometime as a Facebook group, for around a couple years, but starting in May 2015 we began havi...
