EPROM Programming
Help! I want to create my own cartridges for the VIC20. In short, I want to program my own ROMs. What do I need to do? What hardware do I need? What chips should I buy? Will a modern EPROM Programmer like the Willem Programmer do the job? Any light you can shed on this topic is greatly appreciated ...

Re: Commodore 1520 printer/plotter
What about the traditional Commodore printers? I'm looking for a printer for my VIC that is regular size, but it must be bi-directional and fast. I'm considering either a dot matrix or daisy wheel printer. I had a dot matrix printer back in the 80s, but I always thought the daisy wheel printer was a ...

Commodore 1520 printer/plotter
I'm looking for a small desktop printer for my VIC20 that I can use to print program listings. Not a full size printer like the 802 or 803. Does anyone know if the Commodore 1520 is a realistic choice to perform this task. If not, can someone recommend a better printer choice.
Thanks!

Re: VIC20 Denial website
I went back and reviewed the Mega-Cart.com website. There is mention of a 10-12 week waiting period due to backorders. I must have missed it in my haste to order. I hope I won't have to wait a year. Thanks again for your help.

Re: VIC20 Denial website
Thank you for the reply. That answered a lot of questions I could find no answers for. I did order through the Mega-Cart.com website. The site itself states that the shipping invoice will be sent within an hour of placing the order. If there is a one year backorder for the Mega-Cart, why not say so ...

VIC20 Denial website
Does anyone know how to contact the admin of the VIC20 Denial website? I've been trying to buy the VIC20 Mega-Cart, but the site has not sent me the necessary shipping invoice to complete the sale. I sent a follow up email to the admin, but have received no reply. I've also submitted a request for ...

Has anyone ever heard of a "Supersoft HR40 graphics card" for the Commodore PET? I tried Googling it, but found nothing. What does this card do? Does anyone have any literature for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Commodore PETs
Does anyone have a Commodore PET 2001, 4032 or 8032 they're looking to get rid of? I know there are some on Ebay, but I'd like to avoid that avenue. Please let me know!

Jack Tramiel
I never thought I'd live to see the day that Jack Tramiel would make a public appearance on behalf of his old company and the Commodore 64. This is truly an historic occasion and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I wish I could go. Could someone please video tape the event for posterity? I'd gladly ...

Yes, the C64 will run basic PET programs without the emulator. But, if you poke specific memory locations on a PET, they won't match the C64. Crash! The emulator will also allow a program to be saved on the C64 and then loaded onto a PET. You cannot do that without the emulator because the PET and ...

Hello All. I'm trying to use OPENCBM and GUICBM4WIN with an XM1541 cable to transfer files between by modern computer and my Commodore 1541. When attempting to access the 1541's directory via GUICBM4WIN, I get the following error message: "dir: the system cannot find the file specified" I dumped all ...
