Netplay with VICE

Has anyone here had any luck with netplay under VICE? I'm trying to get a game of MULE going and it seems to keep erroring out saying "network out of sync"? Anyone have any helpful tricks or observations about it? Documentation seems to be, well, nonexistent. There's one tutorial someone's done, but ...

Well, now you can play it again. I addressed a few shortcomings in it -- I mean, really, it was written to run in 16K of memory, there was only so much it was going to be able to do. An RF modulator that has 300 ohm output (coaxial) should do it. There are straight-through adapters (all one piece) that do this now, I've got one in a box somewhere.

You can also buy S-Video adapters for the C64, but not sure about backwards compatibility with the vic-20.

This is great! I read the first book and really enjoyed it, but my main interest is the early years (from PET through C128), I never had an Amiga. So this book sounds right up my alley. I'm FB friends with Bil Herd and occasionally get a neat anecdote out of him but I try not to bug him too much. :)
