Netplay with VICE
Has anyone here had any luck with netplay under VICE? I'm trying to get a game of MULE going and it seems to keep erroring out saying "network out of sync"? Anyone have any helpful tricks or observations about it? Documentation seems to be, well, nonexistent. There's one tutorial someone's done, but ...

Re: Remember MISER? (aka Miser's House)
Well, now you can play it again. I addressed a few shortcomings in it -- I mean, really, it was written to run in 16K of memory, there was only so much it was going to be able to do. But a move-by-move walkthrough of the 1981 version will get you through this one as well. (I added things rather than ...

Re: UPDATED: Commodore Book: A Company on the Edge 2nd Editi
This is great! I read the first book and really enjoyed it, but my main interest is the early years (from PET through C128), I never had an Amiga. So this book sounds right up my alley. I'm FB friends with Bil Herd and occasionally get a neat anecdote out of him but I try not to bug him too much. :)

Remember MISER? (aka Miser's House)
Some of you will remember the text adventure for the Commodore PET (released 1981) called MISER. Creepy old house, with a swimming pool full of mercury in the yard. As far as I knew there had been no attempt to resurrect it since the early 80s so I decided to rewrite it in object-oriented PHP for ...
