i had the same problem and it ended up being a faulty rf switch. note that an auto-switch will not work.try adjusting the fine tuning of the TV. also, if the TV has the capability, go directly in without a switcher. aka. use a RCA-coaxial adapter on the output, then connect directly with coaxial ...

i have a 1541 with a 9 pin rs232 style serial port added to it. the drive works just fine, wondering how i can use this to add d64 files from my home pc. thanks

3rd party tape drive adapters
I want to use a reel to reel tape player or a cd instead of the datassette drive. Does anybody recommend a certain tool that would allow me to do that. preferably one that comes in a case instead of just the board.
