Re: C128 Power supply on C64 question

It should not make any difference in what order you connect the AC lines. If a fuse blows it's more likely you wired it wrong. I have a C128 psu connected on my C64 for years now. I opened up the connector to let you see the order in which I connected the wires. Picture: http://members.lycos.nl ...

Re: Anyone want to sell a 1541?

I have some to spare 1541, but unfortunately for you I live in the Netherlands - the shipping cost will be a bitch.
And it's a 220 Volt drive.
The value of the C15 capacitor is 10uF/16V .

Re: Sprite Graphics Colors

Changing the color of the sprites is quite easy. Address 53287 controls the color of sprite 0, address 53288 for sprite 1 .......... address 53294 for sprite 7. For example, if you want to make sprite 2 black the command would be: poke53289,0 If you like programming you should consider getting a ...

BTW if you replace the D-connector of a C64 joystick with a mini din-connector that fits into a C16, you have to solder the wire that was going to GND-pin of the D-connector to the select-pin on the C16 din-connector.

I supposed that i don't use pin 5(potV) et 9(poyX) on C64 joystick and i don't use pin 8 (select') of c16 joy.

Can you confirm it ?

Thanks.

regards
For a normal joystick you only need left/right/up/down/fire and GND.

I don't know about genenis controllers, but if you plug in a C64 compatible joystick in PORT1 it will mess up keyboard functions if you use it.
The joystick ports are connected to the keyboard matrix, so this is normal.

Steve
You're welcome.
Page 2 is the same schematic except for the rom's.
There are also a lot of pages about 8050/sfd1001/rom-versions/part-list etc.

Oh yeah... there it is... ;-) Wow... Approximately US $2,035.01! That's just over $63 per kilobyte. :D -Andrew If you calculate it down to bit-level, it's less than 8 cents per bit. A real bargain :) Unfortunately he is not a real collector, he's just in it to make a quick buck and jacking up the ...

Yup, that was it... I had to sacrifice the 6530 from one of my SFD1001 drives. The 8250LP is working great now! Steve That's bad news for you're SFD1001 :( Those 6530 are very difficult to come by. I have three SFD1001 drives, one has a defective 6530 too. Theoretical the 6530 can be replaced with ...

It's probably the 6530.
