Use a print statement with a press of the CLR/HOME key in between quotes. You should see an inverted heart. That will clear your screen. If you're starting out with BASIC programming on the Commodore 64, I would suggest that you have a look at the Commodore 64 Programmer's Reference Guide . It's ...

Look at lines 20 and 30: 20 INPUT ANSWER$ 30 IF ANSWER$="YES" THEN GOTO 60 These lines force you to type YES, otherwise your program is terminated. When you just hit Enter at the following INPUT commands (line 80, 140, 200, 270, etc.), the variable ANSWER$ still contains the word YES. Now look at ...

Ok thanks. My father just called me alerting me bought a C64 power supply.

He told me it was a 4-pin power connector, but the person that sold it said they do work on a C64 with a 7-pin socket..

How is this so?

Looking for a C64 Power Supply

I am looking for a C64 power supply, one that works, and has been properly tested (let it run for like 20 minutes with no killing the C64 from over-voltage).. If in Florida, I "could" pick it up if it's close enough (live in Oviedo). Can do Pay Pal... Would prefer a gray supply, not the black one ...

Hi Hakemon; I am certain there is a way to get a modern power supply to function but I would not want to put in the serious effort required. The first batch of C64 power supplies were dangerous in that a small number of them overheated and caught fire (or started the paper, curtians... near them on ...

No Powerupply. What to do?

I was given a power supply-less Commodore 64... I would "like" to use a PC power supply since they are regulated, and switching... Is there anything I can possibly do to get this thing started? I am afraid of getting an official C64 power supply, after hearing about how dangerous they are.. I tried ...
