Post by rbernardo »

Delayed from CommVEx v7 2011, I have the presentation entitled, "Downloading/Uploading with the Commodore and modem", in which I show how to download, upload, and convert with the use of a Commodore, a modem, and a shell account.

Today I met with the engineers of a new bit of top secret Commodore hardware to be released at CommVEx. This hardware has plenty of features! As CommVEx nears, more details will come out.

Sworn to secrecy,

Another bit of hardware, this time Commodore 128-related, is planned to be re-released at CommVEx. More details as the show nears.

Secretly yours,

For the first anniversary of the release of the Sound Ultimate Xpander 6400 audio digitizer cartridge, I will be doing a presentation on Digimaster 128, Hydrophilic's conversion of Autumn Technologies' classic Digimaster software for the Commodore 64. Digimaster is the audio-sampling software which uses the SUX 6400 in order to capture and edit audio in 8-bit sound quality.

We will be seeing video of the late Jack Tramiel. This video has never been seen and was taken of Jack at the 25th anniversary of the Commodore 64 in 2007 at the Computer History Museum.

I am pleased to announce that Jim Drew, creator of more 60 commercial products for Commodore and Amiga computers in the 1980's and 1990's and CBM educational/support representative for Oregon from 1983 to 1985, will be telling stories of those days. He will also be introducing his new product, SuperCard Pro, and will have two prototypes to show.

Sincerely,

Steve Davison will have two presentations, "EasyDisk for EasyFlash", his EasyDisk C64 driver that allows you to load and save files on the EasyFlash cartridge, and "PETSCII Animator", his ML-coded program which will allow you to easily do GIF-like animated scenes with PETSCII characters on the C64.

Last night in Portland, Oregon,
